The Turcopoles were Turks, Greeks or Syrians who served as auxiliary horse archers in the Byzantine armiers, and joined the Crusaders in their journey toward the Levant. They served as scouts and light cavalry and their knowledge of Muslim tactics was invaluable. It will cost you one point to add the Turcopoles to your Warband.
